It's not my birthday, even though it felt like a special day for me.
Donna at Funky Junk Interiors is having herself a celebration of the yearly aging process.
And it just so happened that my package arrived on her birthday.
So to celebrate I opened it up......
Inside were two stencils from her first batch of creative designs.
Can you tell what they are?
This design will be going on a gift I promised out at Christmas to one of my friends.
What?.... It's only 3 1/2 months later. No big deal, my daughter has been waiting a year and a half for us to work on her gifted laundry room redo.
*Make a note - don't accept offers of projects sketched out on paper from Bliss and Brawn unless you are willing to wait.
I would have had to do much of the sign by hand without the stencil, which takes a lot of time and is the reason for the delay.
Now that I'm a lucky duck to receive this package, I should have the sign made within a month.
Hold me to that would you?
Also in my package there was this one.......
You can guess that one for sure right?
I have lots of projects planned with this. I'm gonna number everything, so don't stand still if I have a stencil brush in my hand.
To celebrate her birthday, Donna is giving away a stencil, plus offering 25% off in the Old Sign Stencils Shop. But you have to head over to her blog Funky Junk Interiors and follow the instructions to win.
And trust me...... you do want to win, the stencils are pretty slick.
While you're there wish Donna a happy birthday and tell her Bliss said next birthday make full size cupcakes - when you reach that special age, mini ones are no longer allowed.
LOL--What a fun post. I just finished a gift that was supposed to be done at Christmas, too! LOVE that stencil. I love using them. They are so much easier than hand lettering. xo Diana

ReplyDeleteNow quit blogging and go make a sign! I'll eat a cupcake while I wait... :)
