The days march on the same no matter if we would like them to speed up or to slow down.
In the world of blogging with a life of making projects, it's nice to be able to look back and see concrete evidence that I did in fact accomplish something on the to-do list.
Here are the top 8 Bliss Ranch "pick's of the litter" for 2014.
8.
6 pain-in-the-butt-to-finish chairs that took a year, but started off 2014 with their reveal.
This thing is LOUD and PROUD, and rocks on at #2 sons house.
A vintage headboard updated a mudroom bench-thanks to Albert for the inspiration.
This is probably my favorite project of 2014, click to see how this $1 bench started out.
Nightstand upcycled into a kitchen fit for a princess.
1 pc. of shelving + 1 vintage Hanson scale + Maison Blanche La Chaux Lime Paint =
2.
This sign was a labor of love for someone special.
My #1 project for 2014 is the one that landed a page in Old Home Journal Magazine

Made from an old window and barn wood

PS -- got my cake tester and OMG! It's gorgeous! Thank you!
I'm new to Bliss Ranch and love all your projects!! But my favorite is the Minnesota, Mud Pie Making Station too! Growing up in GA, we used to make mud pies all the time (with nothing that spectacular). If we'd had a station like that, we would've been the hit of the neighborhood! Thanks for posting and for the great childhood memories :-)
ReplyDeleteIt was an excellent year for you dear Bliss!
ReplyDeleteLove them all, but my special fave is still the mudpie station. It's an award-winner. my award. The greater curmudgeon foil medal for first place.
ReplyDeleteI think you meant; "Out with the old and in with.. more old." hehe
ReplyDeleteBLISS! You are a powerful force of creativity, inspiration and astonishingly unique and special creations.
Happy New Year my friend!! xo ~Shan
Loved the bar. Wanted to see the chairs but the link does not work. Tried it several times. :(
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know. All fixed now.
DeleteI have a half written year in review post myself that I need to get done. It is fun to look back. You have some fabulous projects lady. Every single one is full of personality just like you. I look forward to what you will accomplish in 2015.
ReplyDeleteEvery one of your pieces is the best for a different reason each. Some were even lucky enough to get them as gifts which was probably blissful to receive. Awesome year for you, Bliss!!
ReplyDeleteGreat projects...all of them! Looking forward to more in this new year!
ReplyDeleteYou always come up with the most unique projects each year. I love that sign about a little boy! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with this year now.
ReplyDeleteThe mud pie station is my favorite!!
ReplyDeleteWow! You really took on some big projects last year and I can't wait to see what you've got up your sleeve for us in 2015! Congrats again on the magazine feature!
ReplyDeleteWhat a roll call, no-one could top that.
ReplyDeleteI love them all, but I love No. 1 the best and you so deserved that feature.
