Where's Bliss?
Then...... after you learn my inner most bead board thoughts, please stop in and say hello to Angie at Knick Of Time. I have a guest post at her place where I took a cheapo dollar garage sale crate and turned it into something cute to store our beverages.
Cheapo Garage Sale Crate |
There is no snow predicted next week in Minnesota. That's the best news I've had in a while so I might go outside and paint something. Or maybe, just maybe I'll finish my dining room chairs.
I said MAYBE!
Subscribe, Bliss Ranch arrives magically!

Thanks for coming by to guest post at Knick of Time , Bliss - I love having you!
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of Cheerwine. Saw your interview with Kirby...so funny. Off to see your cheapo crate decorating abilities.
ReplyDeleteCheerwine is the local delicacy here--surprised you can get it in MN. (The other 'local' drink is Sundrop.) Of course, I prefer beer.
ReplyDeletecan't wait to see the dining room reveal, so don't keep me waiting... :) and fingers crossed for no snow!
ReplyDeleteThat soda bottle with water is what I call dedication to the post. I'm on my way to get the scoop on your bead board thoughts.
ReplyDeleteLiz
Love cheerwine :) Beautiful photo..Have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteDebbie
I have never had a Cheerwine.....but the name is cute. I was FASCINATED by the beadboard interview....so inspiring. I need to visit the crate now......
ReplyDeleteJust because the snow isn't predicted. Doesn't mean it won't come. I'll shut up now. ;) Love the crate!
ReplyDeleteLove the tilt on the photo - too clever and Cheerwine sounds like something we all need. 28C here today... that's 82.4F!! Spring has sprung!! :)
ReplyDeleteBoth posts are great, Bliss, but I especially love the crate. I have to see if I can get my husband to help me build one...or just do it myself.
ReplyDeleteDebbie :)
I have a need to find this Cheerwine now. Especially after learning of poor Klouse and his demise. I'm not a fan of cherry drinks, but the nieces will love it.
ReplyDeleteHow cherry/cheery is it?
Super fun interview! You are hilarious!! I commented over at Knick of Time, I love love love the crate! Soooo cute!! Of course you already know I am obsessed with them! And about the snow, I feel the same way, we have had a snow fall every week in March and April, and I think this week we might break the cycle....FINALLY!
ReplyDeleteBliss, saw you at Knick of Time and I will go and checkout Kirb Appeal. Never heard of Cheerwine.
ReplyDeleteCynthia
I'm visiting via Angie and am now following! My hubby and I LOVE Cheerwine and I adore your little soda crate transformation! I'd love you to stop by and say hi :)
ReplyDeleteSusan
fun post!!!!! xo
ReplyDeleteOh Lord - I just read your interrogation over at Women Who Blog. Hilarious as usual but I literally laughed for about 5 minutes straight when I read "You can have Klous". Holy hell that is just too funny.
ReplyDeletexo, Claire {the one who annoyingly shows up as a "No Reply" Blogger even though I love replies}
PS: Some blogger sites offer the "Name/URL" in the pull down below the comment box. But I actually know nothing about Blogger. Only that nobody can reply to me and I will live in a constant state of "Was it something I said…?" until everyone has migrated to WordPress.org. ;)
PSS: Come link something fabulous up over at my new "Best Of The Weekend" party. Like the one dining chair or something.
DeleteI will have to go check them out!
ReplyDeleteYour post on Kirby's blog made me lol. Brilliant.
ReplyDeleteWell aren't you just the gal about town! I am going to check you out in both places.... and that soda looks really yummy!
ReplyDeleteSusan
You really get around, don't you :)
ReplyDeleteLove the new header Mrs. B and the great pic of YOU. I know, it's probably been up for ages, it's just that I haven't !
ReplyDeleteOff to check you out at Kirby's and Angie's xx
still think a fun little book on the life of Bliss...your humor is so catching
ReplyDeleteI'm heading over to see your guest post and read the interview.
ReplyDeleteIt was in the 70's here in St. Paul today! Winter/summer!!
I need a little "cheer wine". 70's here...FINALLY! And I'm packing. Headed over to take a look at your post! xo
ReplyDeleteCheers! my boys love that stuff...I never saw it in the bottle.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...I guess I never realized you were in MN. My hubby is from W St Paul and we occasionally make the trek up nort to visit his family. :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. love the fake soda and the fact you felt the need to make it. :)
Kelly
Love your beverage crate ... and I realized I didn't leave a comment when I stopped by earlier this week. You've been quiet. I imagine you are hard at work on dining room chairs ...
ReplyDelete:) Linda
Your blog is looking finnnneee!
ReplyDeleteAnd dang girl, you know what's going to happen now that you wrote that there won't be snow next week. I blame you if it comes.
Hope things are warming up there. I would be losing my mind if I couldn't get outside in May. The box is cute - I'll head on over.
