But just like in real life, moving into a new house doesn't always go as planned, and the dollhouse closing date got delayed.
That's code for the radio house conversion is having some trouble with contractors.
It seems the construction crew I hired to add dormers and a new roof, have had some rain delays so they went to work on another remodel. (Hint- life size Jack & Jill bathroom).
I have been following along with Cassie and her friends as they make the cutest miniatures and I didn't want to miss out on the first room reveal even if it meant that the moving boxes are still packed and the bed isn't put together.
The master bed is leaning up against a wall with a folded crochet blanket waiting to adorn the foot of the bed.
You can see how the bed started out as a recipe box {here}.
The master bedroom has blue details, the 5 year old homeowner likes color.
A mini glass bottle has become a mini glass lamp with a wine cork shade, all packed for the move.
Hand painted and signed, the art work is waiting for a wall to put a nail on.
Thanks to daughter #1 for surprising the family with an animal hide rug as well as a crochet hamper and blanket.
The dresser started out as a thrift store clock, you can check out that conversion {here}.
There are two round nightstands that will get a makeover once construction is complete. They may or may not be wood napkin rings right now.
The paint is ready to roll on the walls.
When there are walls to roll it on that is.
