Don't know what a Sweepovac is?
Well first let me just say you want one.
Sweepovac is an in wall vacuum unit that has helped me keep up with all the dog hair and dust on the floor around here.
I've ditched the dustpan and I'm pretty tickled about that.
From the Sweepovac web site:
"Sweepovac is a revolutionary kitchen vacuum that eliminates that pesky
dirt-line often left behind by using a dustpan! It is easily placed in
any kitchen by installing
it in the bottom of the cabinets and does not require a central vac
system. Its strong suction, removes dirt in seconds and its sleek design
allows for no loss of space". This is a cool gadget, that's easy for most homeowners to install with very little DIY skill.
For sure if you are updating your kitchen, or building a new one, you want one of these.
Is it sort of a luxury gadget?... well yeah, and kitchens these days are pretty fine looking with many luxurious top of the line "must haves".
I use my Sweepovac more than half of all the appliances I own. Wonder if I could get this contraption to suck up a wok?
First I told you {here} why this would be such a welcome product at my house. Dog hair, people hair, crumbs and debris.... I've got 'em.
And if you take a peek at my last post, it shows you what the Sweepovac is, what it does, and where we installed ours.

It is a time consuming way to collect hair, dust and debris. I loved this piece of technology. It is very helpful in collecting the dust in few seconds.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great product...I always thought you had to have a "whole house" vacuum to take advantage of this...now if someone could invent a broom that doesn't trap pet hair...I hate having to clean my broom but replacements do add up. Any body got any ideas on how to prevent the dust and pet hair from clinging to the bristles?
ReplyDeleteSometimes Phil is on the floor where I don't want him to be. Will he fit if I sweep him in there? I think it's worth a shot.

ReplyDeleteI don't have pet hair problems but I do have a baby who drops Cheerios, etc and a husband who brings in grass and leaves whenever he comes in the house. This would be awesome to help me keep those things out of the baby's mouth!
ReplyDeleteI would love to give this to my daughter who has dark stained wood floors in her kitchen, a white hairy dog, and a baby who will soon be dropping all sorts of stuff from her high chair!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like the answer to a prayer!! Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteI have two dogs, brothers, affectionately (HA) called the Puppies From Hell. I have wood floors and sweep every day. I had a friend stay with them when I went on vacation and she mentioned that after a few days of sweeping, she had enough dog hair to make another day. No thanks, these two are enough. After I read your post on the Sweepovac, I went internet shopping. If I don't win one of these, please, please, please, I know what my Xmas present to me will be.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance at the giveaway. I love my Bella so much but oh my, her black and white hair just gathers under everything - especially the kitchen tile floor. This would be a wonderful addition when I redo my kitchen in the near future. It looks like a great invention.

I so need one of these. Our beautiful Phoebe sheds like crazy. She loves to sit at the patio door in kitchen and we end up with her fur everywhere. ReplyDeleteI got a boxer in January. I had no idea how much they shed... She walks buy my leggings, clothes and furniture not to mention the hard wood floors.. This would make my life so much easier. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI knew I had a pet hair problem when I had carpet in the living room, but after I removed it - OMG. It's like the stuff just stayed in the carpet, but now that I have flooring it just blows around the house. It feels like I can't keep it clean with all the tumbleweeds around here. :/
ReplyDeleteCat hair and long girly hair!
ReplyDeleteI have a 2 smaller dogs. Oh my the hair! I swear the corgi sheds enough to knit a sweater Every. Single. Day! And the other isn't far behind. Seriously--where does it all come from? ReplyDeleteMy only pet is hubby but I do have a lot of dust and I hate to vacuum. This is an interesting little gadget!
